What is Copyright?
A copyright is the exclusive legal right to print, publish, reproduce, distribute, sell, film or perform original material such as a literary, musical or any artistic work for a given period.
How do I register a Copyright in Libya?
Please provide us with a copy of:
- your Trade Licence/Commercial Registration Certificate (for corporate entities) or National Identity Card/Passport (for physical persons)*
- a Power of Attorney authorising us to act on your behalf*
the copyrighted material.
* These documents must be legalised by the Libyan Consulate in your country.
What does it cost to register a Copyright in Libya?
We charge a fixed fee per copyright registration of €300.*
- This fee covers:
- Administrative fees
- Document translation
- Courier fees (for return only).
*For each additional copyright registration, we charge a fixed fee of €150.
